Phase 220 Just wanted to make a quick post about my 19th birthday and stamp set! hehe So last Friday started off pretty lazy. I woke up quite early in the morning, about 10 past 8 ish. Went out to cabra for a bit to look at some stuff with my aunt. Came back home and basically did nothing. About 12 something my friend called and said that she was going to come over! So she came over and wished me a happy birthday and gave me something that I didn't really know what it was when I opened it.  After my friend left, I went to Bankstown with my mum and her friend to eat. We ate at this Italian restaurant because I was feeling tired of asian food (and I also love Italian food! :D). We ordered 2 cocktails which was very nice!! I had Strawberry D-something and my mum had Summer Breeze. I couldn't taste the alcohol much in mine, it was a very sweet strawberry drink. My mum's one was overpowered by the lime flavour, but I still liked the zingy-ness contrasted with the sweetness of the drink. I had Tortellini B-something (Italian name that I cannot get a hold of). It was DELICIOUS!! It contained a creamy white sauce with mushrooms and bacon and the filling was beef I think. Overall it was a fantastic dish, I am soo coming back for that pasta! haha Also had Morton Bay bugs with tomato and parsely sauce. The bugs were okay, I was a bit disappointed because they tasted just average and the flavour was boring. My mum had a seafood pasta dish which also looked very nice but I didn't get to try because I was too into my dish :) After we ate I gambled for the first with the poker machines at the Bankstown club. It was fun and disappointing at the same time because I didn't win anything :( Played with my mum and lost 30 dollars haha I told my mum to stop after 10 dollars was lost but she kept pushing the button! So it wasn't my fault we lost :P Went home after that and cut my cake and blew candles with my aunt and uncle over. I really liked my cake, it wasn't super sweet. I got the Black Forest Gateau from Michel's :) This last paragraph brings me down to the awesome Stamp Set that Jolly gave to me! :D  12:10 AM

HAPPY NEW YEAR Just wanted to say HAPPY NEW YEAR!  Having survived the feared apocalypse this year, 2013 is coming in approximately 1 hour! I watched the 9 o'clock fireworks on tv and it was pretty boring... I found it long and repetitive. Apparently there's going to be a really big one this year at midnight, so hopefully im still awake then to be able to watch it. I think the fireworks are such a waste of money.. to spend millions or so on just firing some pretty lights into the sky... I guess it's a good way of celebrating a new year but I just think that money could be spent on something else that's more useful and productive! I don't normally make new year resolutions because I think it's just an excuse for people to plan things and try to become a better person but they don't actually adhere to it! Because those decisions can be made any timee throughout the year aswell. Soo I will do the same this year! :) I wish everyone another delightful and happy new year with their families, friends and loved ones :) 4:10 AM

Phase 219 Yayy im back to blogging! First year of uni is donee, can't believe it flew by so fast. I met some really cool people this year :) I hope I passed all my exams :( I should've studied more throughout the semester :/ 1st year was alright, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Not looking forward to 2nd yr, I heard it was heaps harder :( Anyways, I had a very productive day yesterday so I will share it on my blog :) I left home at about 10 something for Bankstown and stopped at my moom's chiropractor to sign some papers there. Then stopped at a few of the grocery stores, bought a bread roll and sugar cane. The sugar cane drink was very sweet and it was greeen lool I hope they didn't add extra sugar in :( I really enjoyed their bread roll :) I'm not sure what they put in there to make it so flavoursome compared to boring pork rolls in cabra. After that we went to my favourite supermarket, Costco! :) Haven't been there in ages and we decided to go because our membership is going to expire soon and I don't think we're going to renew and keep going there because it's so far away :( Anyways, we spent a longg time in there and went up and down all the aisles. I could stay in there all day and look around :L I wanted to buy everything! hehe They had a very expensive ring on display which was ~ $349,000!! Goshh who would spend so much on a ring, you can buy a house with that money! If someone wore that ring, I probably would not guess it was worth that much. I saw this really nice watch by salvatore ferragamo selling for ~$1000 and something! It was white and had some gold details on it :) And the watch face was also not that big; I dont like big ones because they're too bulky x) There was a lot of people shopping there yesterday, but then again its always crowded when I go there. There were also heaps so samples, and my mum being an asian had to try everything xD Anyways, here are a few things that I picked out: These whiteboard markers were so cheap! compared to the ones sold in woolies and normal supermarkets which costs 7-8$ or so for just 5 or 6 whiteboard markers. These 24 markers costed just $10 something :) And it also comes with a whiteboard eraser! I was so happy when I found this hehe  I got these candles, it came in a pack of 4. I love these 2 scents :) It smells sweet :) I was looking for lolly sweet scents but these were the only candles I could find :( It burns for ~65 hrs so thats pretty good.  I like the fresh fig & vanilla one the most, burnt it in my room last night and made my room smell very nice :) The scent is also not overpowering, I bought these candles before from Dusk that was really strong and overpowering.    Veggie straws! Anything in the form of vegetable chips I just have to try haha It gets a bit sickening if you eat too much of it. It's such a huge packet I'm not sure how I'm gonna finish it xD   Ground cinnamon! This big bottle of cinnamon was only $3, it's so cheap so I just had to get it :D Lastly, got this chair! Because my current chair is so uncomfortable and hard, I don't know how I managed to spend so many hours on it while studying. There were times when I had to sit on my bed and on the floor to get comfortable haha Anyways, it's a very neat chair and comfy, not sure what it'll be like when I spend lots of hours on it, but it sure is better than my previous chair :)  So after Costco, we came home and ate and rested for a bit until we headed to livo to watch 007 Sky Fall! Because my mum has been wanting to watch it haha  It was an okay movie, I still prefer the old James Bond movies. It wasn't as good as I hoped it to be, but my mum still seemed to enjoy it :) I'll rate it a 6.5/10 After the movies we went grocery shopping in coles. I finally remembered to get mortein spray for those damn cockroaches, an aloofa because my current one is dying and some other things.. And that was my day! Phase 218 Time for blogging! I have soo lazy :L Well these days I'm mostly at the gym and at home ~ Been doing pilates and yoga classes :) Some classes are killers and some are quite enjoyable :) Those are probably the only 2 classes I'll go to. My mum went to the belly dancing class once and asked me to join her - Nah ahh! She was in the room belly dancing for about and hour while I'm out on the machines :) Well here are some things I have been doing during my spare time at home... - I tried the marble nail art :) It was funn! Watching the colors going onto my nail :)   My right hand was pretty whack, my ring finger and pinky didn't turn out too well :L My pinky was too light and my ring finger nail was all over the place haha. - Went to Newtown with Shelly and Angela! We went into some shops there and walked around. We went into this awesome arts and crafts store! We spent a long time in there haha It was like, half a book shop and half artzy stuff. We ate at pie-tin:  I had the beef brisket with mushrooms. I loved the pastry! But the filling was alright, a bit watery though. It just needs more flavour. Also dined at 2 cafes. The 2nd time we went was because there were no more seats left at pie-tin :L I also bought a cup to drink my tea/coffee for uni - mostly tea, I don't drink coffee that often. I finally found a cup that was light and not too big/not too big and also I like the colour combination :) It was a great day catching up with the gurllls :) - Made sushi at home for dinner, avocado and fish :)  - Made strawberry milkshake! Mmm mmm - that reminds me, I still owe my grandma pancakes :L I will make them tomorrow :)  10:37 PM

Phase 217 So on the Wednesday I went to the Victoria's Basement in Alexandria to find that damn clock! The store there was bigg and they didn't have it! :( They had this expensive clock, which was really nice too but too pricey :/ Stopped by a couple of sports stores and bought new joggers and a shirt. I can't really remember what else I did that day... On the Thursday, went to pilates class with my mum! It was sooo tiring, that was the most workout I've done in such a long time. The next day I woke up I was sore everywhere! It hurted alot when I walked! and sat down. And it was worse when I laughed LOL But towards the end of Friday it was getting better. On Friday, I went to Flemington Markets with my mum to find these ugg boots with pom poms! I was disappointed when we got there, the quality of the boots wasn't very good. It's quite obvious the boots are made out of synthetic wool. Even thought it was pretty I didn't like the fur :( Mum did some grocery shopping and bought some fish and vegies. After that, we went to Chatswood shopping centre. Their Westields is quite large, my mum bought a few bowls on sale in Myer. Also browsed some shops for ugg boots but I didn't like any of them. And we headed home after that. Today I went to buy snow gear with my mum for tomorrow! I am going to the snowy mountains with Sica's church group :D Bought a snow jacket, waterproof pants, snow socks, gloves and gum boots. Also stopped by Auburn to get my Ugg boots! Unfortunately I didn't choose very wisely and got a size that's a bit too big :( Sigh... Won't get to wear them tomorrow :( I am bringing them back next week to exchange for a smaller size. Anyways, I have mixed feelings about tomorrow. I was excited when I first found out about the snow but it died down now because of a few disrepencies... actually many disrepencies - but nevertheless I've always wanted to see what the snow felt like and looked lik in person so I am excited about that :) 4:32 AM
Phase 216 I forgot to blog about the day of my last exam! - which was last Monday. Well after the exam, me and Jolly headed to the library to STUDY SOME MORE. Jokes, we went to borrow some books to read in the holidays haha Then we went to Central to look for some ugg boots for Jolly. But sadly there weren't any. Walked around a bit in Market City and then went for lunch at Seoul-Ria! I haven't been in that place in such a long time. We took quite a long time to order because SomeonE was being indecisive. There was this group of people next to our people that was really loud, so I looked over and noticed it was pharmacy students! lol They are everywhere! In the end, we got a bibimbap with mozarella cheese and this spicy squid dish. I should not have ordered the bibimbap with cheese, they put SOO MUCH cheese. It was sooo cheesy that it was easily sickening. I got a bit sick of it after a couple of spoonfuls.   I have been looking high and low for this clock! Grr 4:19 AM

Phase 215 First day of my holiday today! :D I woke up extra early to clean my room LOL I couldn't really sleep last night because I got cramps in the middle of the night >:/ I was organizing all my files into the correct folders and cleaned my desk + drawers + wardrobe. I got my winter clothes down from storage and put away my summer clothes so I can have more space in my wardrobe. I am really in need of a bigger wardrobe :( I still need to clean my floor and vacuum a bit more here and there. I'll leave that for tomorrow :) I also went to the city today with my mum. It was pouring when I left the house and my mum still insisted on going lol. Then when we got there she finally saw my point of bad weather condition, so we stood under shelter for a bit to let the rain lessen. The weather became clearer afterwards which was good. I unexpectedly bought new joggers today - because they were really good xD So comfy haha Also bought a shirt for exercising and a pretty skirt that I've wanted to buy :) It was so tiring walking around, and my arms were also sore from carrying stuff. I am planning to finally start watching Smallville season 10! hehe And also find a drama to watch! It's been too long since I've touched any drama. 4:24 AM
